Advancing Environmental Performance at Trimet Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
PTEM partnered with Trimet France at their aluminum smelter in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to upgrade the plant’s environmental infrastructure. The project focused on enhancing the smoke treatment system to improve air quality and operational efficiency.
PTEM played a key role in the mechanical integration and modernization of the filtration circuit, ensuring a smooth transition to cleaner industrial operations.
Project Scope: Smoke Treatment & Filtration Upgrade
The project involved high-precision mechanical work within an active industrial environment, including removal of legacy systems and installation of advanced filtration technology.
1. Implementation of the New Baghouse Filter
- Structural Integration: Assembly and positioning of the filter system to meet airflow requirements.
- Media Optimization: Installation of filtration bags and cleaning mechanisms to maximize efficiency and durability.
2. Large-Scale Duct Replacement
- Flow Efficiency: Optimization of gas transport to reduce pressure loss and energy consumption.
